legally registered by Rwanda Development Board under company code 102994143. It has been created on 27th May 2013 with the purpose of production, processing and marketing of improved seeds of high yielding variety of maize, wheat and beans.

From September 2013, KGB in close collaboration SUBA AGRO-CHEMICAL has conducted a various number of different hybrid maize varieties’ trials for 3 different agro-climatic regions in Rwanda. It is in that context today KGB has obtained and signed, in March 2018 the License Agreement for private partner to register and commercialize the CIMMYT-derived maize hybrids in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and UGANDA with reference number: MPLPvt/Af/KGB/2018-02/009.
